The Sri Mahamariamman Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Founded in 1873, it is situated at edge of Chinatown in Jalan Bandar (formerly High Street). In 1968, a new structure was built, featuring the ornate 'Raja Gopuram' tower in the style of South Indian temples.

From its inception, the temple provided an important place of worship for early Indian immigrants and is now an important cultural and national heritage.

Sri Mahamariamman temple located in the heart of city and become famous temple in Malaysia which conducting special prayers for most of the Hindu calendar festival such as Thaipusam, Tamil New Year, Deepavali and so on.

Beside that, Sri Maha Mariamman temple also famous for conducting special event such engagement, and wedding.

Peacock rangoli kolam designed by Vina Canopy & Decor at Sri Maha Mariamman temple, Kuala Lumpur. The kolam surrounded with small Kuttu Villaku and decorated with jasmine flower. Enhance the kolam with placing the Radhakrishnan statue on the crystal stand.

RANGOLI KOLAM BY VINA DECORS

Rangoli kolam,one of the most popular and trendy entrance decoration in Indian wedding. Vina Decors laways have unique design and varties of kolam to decorate the entrance such as peacock, flower pattern and customized design. To enhance the kolam, we do decorate with adding small lamp (kuttu villaku) surrounding the kolam together with jasmine flower. In addition we setup Ganesha statue in front of kolam as a welcoming for the guess.

CANOPY, TABLE AND CHAIRS SETTING

At Sri Maha Mariamman temple, there was a place allocated to setting up the canopy. Whereby only 10’ x 20’ canopy can be setup along the area and 20’ x 20’ canopy at the behind of temple. The canopy can be decorated with scallop, table and chairs according to customer preferences and theme. Since we Vina Canopy & Décor have conducted many events at the temple, we always able to manage our timing, work together with management and able to deliver our work to our valuable customer. Working together with temple management and timing is very vital expect for temple without interrupting the prayers, devotees and maintain the cleanliness after the every event.
